What you will do:

- Provide a specialist service to children with an occupational therapy need, including those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in out-of-borough schools
- Responsible for providing specialist assessment, diagnosis, and therapy packages tailored specifically for paediatric needs
- Develop and deliver training packages for school staff, parents, and other professionals as required, to effectively address the needs of children and implement therapeutic advice
- Prioritise the safeguarding of vulnerable children at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing are paramount
- Support the service in achieving key performance indicators, maintaining target activity levels, and demonstrating high-quality outcomes
- Guide capability support and competency development among team members
- Participate in, and where appropriate lead on, quality governance, audits and projects for the team/service
- Contribute to and provide feedback on potential developments within the team
- Offer mentoring, advice, support, and shadowing to less experienced occupational therapists, assistants, and volunteers as requested

Candidates must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and it is essential to have a driving licence to facilitate visits to various sites throughout your work.
