Infrastructure Project Manager in Glasgow

Our Client has a requirement for a Infrastructure Project Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Glasgow.
Role Purpose

Lead the management of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) from design through to construction delivery.

Oversee the delivery and commissioning of onshore infrastructure, including buildings, roads, utilities, and security systems.

Provide strategic project management to meet defined objectives and drive successful outcomes.

Build trust and foster collaboration across multi-disciplinary delivery teams and stakeholders.

Administer NEC4 contracts, ensuring performance compliance, issue resolution, and partner accountability.

Maintain financial oversight, including reporting against approved budgets and managing cash flow.

Lead assurance processes and gateway reviews to support evidence-based progress decisions.

Ensure compliance with organisational procedures, governance, and delivery standards.

Manage contract closure, handover, and post-delivery obligations, including maintenance agreements.

Develop and track project schedules, milestones, and key decision points.

Establish and control budgets, drawdown schedules, and change control mechanisms.

Apply proactive risk management to identify and mitigate project risks.

Manage configuration control and ensure rigorous documentation of changes.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

SC clearance required; availability for on-site work at least 3 days per week.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in consultancy and/or construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record in delivering infrastructure and built environment projects.

Strong commercial acumen; capable of critically reviewing and challenging Contractor’s Estimates (CEs).

Demonstrable experience with NEC4 contracts and stakeholder engagement.

Proficient in standard IT tools and project management software.
