A minimum of 10 years’ experience in power generation, heavy industry, or similar environments. Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and site-based teams. The capability to review, assess, and manage design information from contractors. Essential Technical Expertise Strong technical knowledge of plant, equipment, and systems within power generation or heavy industrial processes. Experience in electrical inspection and testing requirements. Electrical commissioning experience, including FAT & SAT testing. Working knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations. Understanding of relevant environmental, health, and safety legislation. Ability to work within established business procedures and corporate IT systems. Proficiency with basic IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.). Strong experience in some/all of the following: LV/MV switchgear and distribution systems (IEC standards). LV/MV motors, controls, and starting circuits. DC systems (batteries/UPS). Electrical protection systems. Transformers. Desirable Experience Power station permitry.
