Our Client has a requirement for a Senior P6 Planner, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Reading.

Role Purpose:

To support the planning function across a portfolio of projects, driving improvements in planning processes, uplifting capability across the team, and restoring confidence in project delivery performance.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Establish and improve planning processes and standards
• Develop planning templates and support creation of a Primavera P6 database
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced planners
• Manage and report on a portfolio of 30–40 projects
• Support projects facing delivery challenges by providing strong planning leadership and advice

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Proven Primavera P6 planning experience
• Portfolio management capability (preferably with an engineering background)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Desirable: Construction planning experience
• Desirable: Practical knowledge of NEC contracts
• Water industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
