We are working in partnership with two ambitious and supportive secondary schools—one in Bournemouth and the other in Poole—both part of a successful and forward-thinking Multi Academy Trust. These schools are looking to appoint passionate and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants for full-time roles starting in September 2025. These paid positions offer an ideal platform for graduates considering a future in teaching or the wider education sector.

Role Overview:

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons

Provide tailored support to students through 1:1 and small group work

Support classroom management and daily routines

Help prepare teaching resources and contribute to lesson planning

Build strong, positive relationships with students and staff

Develop a clear understanding of how a busy secondary school operates
Who We’re Looking For:

Graduates (or soon-to-be graduates) with a 2:1 or above

Preferably from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university

Passionate about education and working with young people

Strong interest in at least one of the key subject areas listed above

Reliable, flexible, and eager to get involved in school life

Experience working with young people is a plus but not essential
