Transport Planner in Crewe, North West

Transport Planner

Duration: Temporary – 2 weeks

Location: Crewe

Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Pay Rate: £13 - £16 per hour

Immediate Start

Key Duties:

• Plan and schedule daily transport routes for maximum efficiency
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party carriers
• Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues or delays in a timely manner
• Update and maintain transport management systems and records
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external customers
• Support the wider logistics or operations team with administrative tasks as required

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of transport and logistics planning
• Proficient in using Transport Management Systems
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
