A high-achieving secondary school in Rugby is seeking a Graduate English Teaching Assistant to support their English department. This long-term role is ideal for a graduate who’s enthusiastic about literature and eager to make a difference in young lives.

Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Aiding students with reading comprehension, essay writing, and grammar
- Delivering targeted intervention and support to individuals and small groups
- Encouraging literacy development and enthusiasm for literature
- Supporting classroom engagement and positive behaviour
- Assisting in school-wide literacy initiatives and extracurricular programs
Graduate English Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 or above in English, English Literature, or a related subject
- A love for reading, language, and sharing ideas
- Experience working with young people is a bonus but not essential
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
- Ambition to pursue a career in education or youth work
