Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
- Supporting pupils with a variety of SEN including autism, ADHD, and specific learning difficulties
- Working closely with teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral teams to implement learning plans
- Promoting confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing in pupils
- Engaging with school-wide initiatives that promote compassion, respect, and lifelong learning
- Participating in training and professional development sessions
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or higher (Psychology, Education, or related subject preferred)
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and SEN support
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience
- Experience working with children or young people (including voluntary roles)
- Interest in a long-term career in education, therapy, or child development
