The Role – Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students in KS3 and KS4 across Maths and Science lessons
• Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one tutoring to boost pupil understanding
• Help create engaging learning resources and contribute to lesson planning
• Assist in practical science experiments and help manage classroom equipment
• Work alongside teachers to monitor student progress and adapt support as needed

Candidate Profile – Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant who has:

• A 2:1 or above in a STEM discipline such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field
• A strong academic background, including excellent A-Levels and GCSEs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous tutoring, mentoring, or school-based experience is helpful but not required
