Graduate Academic Mentor Role:
- Earn up to £550 per week
- Full-time, long-term Graduate Academic Mentor role
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support in English, Maths, and Science
- Work closely with teachers to deliver intervention strategies
- Support students with varying academic abilities, including those with SEN or EAL
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging and accessible learning content
- Encourage positive learning habits and behaviour in the classroom
- Track student progress and adapt approaches as needed
Candidate Specification – Graduate Academic Mentor
- A 2:1 or above in a relevant degree (English, Maths, Science, or related field preferred)
- Strong academic credentials and subject knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence, initiative, and professionalism in a school setting
- Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work) is desirable but not essential
- A genuine interest in education and supporting student achievement
