Geography Teacher in West Bromwich, West Midlands

We are recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive Secondary School in West Bromwich from September 2025. This Ofsted rated GOOD school prides itself on strong leadership, supportive staff and a focus on academic excellence. This Geography Teacher role is a full-time, long-term opportunity with ongoing potential. The school is known for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum and is highly supportive of both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Job Role:

• Full class teaching responsibilities for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) Geography
• Planning, preparing and delivering engaging Geography lessons
• Marking and assessing pupil work in line with school policy
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Maintaining excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including departmental planning and extracurricular activities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience teaching Geography within a Secondary School
• Excellent subject knowledge of the National Curriculum for Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom presence with the ability to inspire and engage learners
• Effective communication and organisational skills
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
