Art Teacher in Wolverhampton

Flourish Education are recruiting for an Art Teacher to join a prestigious and well-respected Secondary School in Wolverhampton. This Art Teacher position is full-time, teaching Art and Design across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic department in a school that consistently achieves outstanding exam results and encourages both personal and professional growth. This role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

The Art Teacher Role:

• Teach Art and Design across KS4 and KS5 following the National Curriculum
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
• Mark and assess student work in line with school policies
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
• Support students' artistic development with strong subject knowledge
• Participate in department and whole-school meetings as required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Previous experience as an Art Teacher, Secondary Teacher, or Secondary School Teacher
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Art
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons to support diverse learners
• Excellent subject knowledge and commitment to high standards
