Job Role

As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Full classroom responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment
• Teaching engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and school’s schemes of work
• Creating a positive learning environment that encourages progress and curiosity
• Using a variety of classroom strategies to manage behaviour effectively

Required Skills and Experience

To be considered for this Computer Science Teacher role, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Computer Science
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage all learners
