Year 2 Teacher in Coventry, West Midlands

Flourish Education are currently recruiting a Year 2 Class Teacher to work within an OFSTED rated 'Good' school near Edgwick. The school is looking to appoint dedicated Class Teacher in Year 2.

As a Class Teacher at our client's school, you will be expected to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, work alongside the Teaching Assistant, safeguard all students, mark student's work in line with the school policy, attend staff meetings, take part in the playground duty rota, and create a positive learning environment.

This Class Teacher role is due to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

This Year 2 Teacher Role:

Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.

Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for KS2

Promoting excellent behaviour management and fostering a positive classroom environment.

Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of all students.

Ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed.

Required Skills and Experience for this Year 2 Class Teacher role

Proven experience teaching in a Primary School setting.

Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant KS1 frameworks.

Excellent behaviour management skills.

A passion for inspiring young learners and driving academic success.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
