JOB-20241107-791d94d2Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Supervising Social Worker within the Fostering Team to work full time based for Ansacare Fostering Agency, based in Croydon, London. The salary for this permanent Supervising Social Worker job is up to £37,000 per annum. Main duties: Provide supervision and manage a caseload of approved foster carers.Develop and maintain relationships with placing Local Authorities and other professional services to ensure children’s care plans are implemented effectively.Assist, develop and facilitate foster carer support groups.Assist with the development and delivery of training for foster carers.Undertake Annual Reviews and present to the fostering panel in accordance with policies and procedures.Actively recruit and assess applicants offering to care for children.Participate in Looked After Children’s planning meetings and reviews.Respond to team and organisational developments as required. Requirements of this role: Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.Knowledge of children’s health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.2 years experience working in Children’s Social Services (Preferred).
