What you will do:
- Provide operational leadership and line management to a team of Youth Justice practitioners, ensuring high-quality supervision and professional development.
- Oversee the allocation, quality assurance and completion of assessments, intervention plans, and court reports following Youth Justice Board National Standards.
- Ensure robust safeguarding practices and manage risks effectively for children in youth justice interventions.
- Represent the Youth Offending Team at court, multi-agency panels, and meetings, contributing to effective decision-making.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Degree or professional qualification in Social Work, Probation, Youth Justice, Youth Work, or a related discipline.
Registration & Compliance:
- Registration with Social Work England or the relevant professional body where applicable.
- Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce).
