What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans tailored to the needs of children with disabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with families, providing guidance and support to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Liaise with various agencies and professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of children with disabilities within the community and legal systems.

As part of this role, candidates must have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in direct employment within an English local authority. Preferably, you should have previous experience dealing specifically with children with disabilities. For the induction period, you will be required to be in the office in Moor Lane five days a week, transitioning to three days per week thereafter.
