What you will do
- Deliver exceptional perioperative care within the operating theatre environment.
- Function as an integral part of a multidisciplinary theatre team.
- Prepare and manage the operating theatres for each procedure.
- Undertake scrub, circulate, and/or anaesthetic duties as per your experience and competency.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and in top condition.
- Uphold the highest standards in infection prevention and control.
- Prioritise patient safety and provide care aligned with relevant guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: Qualified and experienced Theatre Practitioner.
- Theatre Experience: Recent experience working within an operating theatre environment.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of theatre procedures, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organisational and communication abilities within a multidisciplinary team.
- Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK/States of Guernsey as applicable.
- Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 10-week block booking.
