What you will do
- Specialist Practice: Deliver targeted speech and language therapy interventions for children with complex and diverse communication needs.
- Assessment & Planning: Conduct detailed assessments and develop tailored intervention plans aligned with individual needs.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with teams across different environments to provide integrated care.
- Family Engagement: Support and guide families, carers, and stakeholders in understanding and contributing to therapy plans.
- Clinical Innovation: Implement effective therapy approaches while adhering to RCSLT standards and best practice.
- Professional Development: Stay up to date with current legislation, clinical practice, and emerging approaches within SEMH and neurodiversity.
- Community Working: Travel across locations to ensure accessibility and continuity of care for service users.
Qualifications / Requirements
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist.
- Experience working with paediatric SEMH, ASD, or neurodivergent populations.
- Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
