• Salary of £101,434 – £116,573 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

About the role

You'll play a key role in delivering specialist paediatric dental services to children and young people with complex oral health needs throughout Norfolk & Waveney.

Working primarily from Siskin Dental Centre, you'll provide specialist assessment and treatment within community clinics while also delivering care under general anaesthetic in acute hospital settings. You'll work closely with colleagues across paediatrics, anaesthetics and wider healthcare services to ensure children receive the highest standard of care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist paediatric dental care across community clinics
• Assess and treat children and young people with complex oral health needs
• Provide treatment under general anaesthetic within acute hospital settings
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support improved access to specialist paediatric dental services
• Promote preventative dentistry and lifelong oral health
• Maintain accurate clinical records and high standards of clinical governance
• Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement

About you

You'll be passionate about delivering exceptional care and improving outcomes for children requiring specialist dental treatment.

You'll have:

• GDC Specialist Registration in Paediatric Dentistry (or equivalent eligibility)
• Experience delivering specialist paediatric dental care
• Experience treating children with complex oral health needs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Norfolk & Waveney

Location

The majority of clinical sessions are based at Siskin Dental Centre, Norwich Community Hospital, with travel across community clinics and acute hospital sites throughout Norfolk & Waveney.
