What you will do:

• Conduct detailed obstetric ultrasound scans to monitor the development and health of unborn children and expecting mothers
• Interpret ultrasound images accurately to assist obstetricians in diagnosing and planning the course of care
• Provide compassionate, clear communication to patients before, during, and after their scans, ensuring a comforting environment
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring its readiness for daily clinical activities
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to patient management plans with specialized obstetric knowledge

Requirements:

• You must be HCPC registered and a qualified Radiographer with special expertise in Sonography
• Recent postgraduate experience in a similar UK-based Sonographer role is essential
• You must have the right to work in the UK and meet all necessary immigration requirements
• Must possess strong proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken
• Adept at performing scans in obstetrics, with the relevant professional qualifications
