What you will do

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of social workers delivering high-quality support at the first point of contact for adults.
  • Oversee the assessment and management of complex cases, ensuring interventions are strengths-based and outcome-focused.
  • Support your team in preventing, reducing, or delaying the escalation of residents' care and support needs.
  • Provide professional supervision, guidance, and performance management to social work staff.
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals, partner agencies, and community organisations to deliver coordinated support.
  • Monitor team performance, set objectives, and drive continuous improvement across the service.
  • Implement innovative approaches and service developments within Adult Social Care.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice standards.
