Locum Job Opportunity: Adults Social Worker within Autism in Blackpool (UK), Earning £30.66 Hourly, Ongoing
Step into the rewarding role of Adults Social Worker within the Autism Team at Blackpool Council! We are seeking two experienced and motivated Autism Social Workers for placements from 14th September until 13th November. One full-time position at 37 hours and one at 30 hours are available for passionate individuals ready to make an impact. Based in Bickerstaffe House, Blackpool, you will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of three days per week in the office to meet service needs.

What you will do:
- Conduct Care Act 2014 assessments, ensuring support plans are person-centered and effective.
- Carry out statutory Care Act reviews ensuring ongoing compliance and adjustment according to individual needs.
- Lead and manage safeguarding enquiries in accordance with Section 42 of the Care Act.
- Work collaboratively with individuals, families, service providers, and partner agencies to deliver comprehensive support.
- Participate in duty cover, contributing to team operations via a shared rota.
- Ensure all case records are maintained with accuracy and punctuality.
