Job Title: Locum Social Worker within Support and Protect Team

Salary: £45 per hour + £100 expenses per week

Join the dynamic Support and Protect team as a Locum Social Worker in Carlisle, where you will enjoy the flexibility of splitting your time between the office and the comfort of your own home. With three days a week spent in the office and two from home, you'll get the best of both worlds. Please note that every five weeks, you'll be required to work in the office full-time for a duty week. Condensed hours are not available as we maintain a structured schedule for consistency and teamwork. What you will do:

- Assess and evaluate needs of families and individuals to determine the best course of action for support and protection.
- Engage actively with clients to build trusting relationships, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed effectively.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored support plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cases to ensure compliance with regulations and effective service delivery.
- Participate in duty weeks to provide consistent in-office support and input during critical periods.
