What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of adolescents with complex safeguarding needs, completing timely assessments, plans, and reviews in line with statutory guidance.
• Undertake child protection enquiries and contextual safeguarding assessments.
• Work directly with young people at risk of criminal or sexual exploitation, providing them with the support they need.
• Develop and implement outcome-focused Child in Need, Child Protection, and care planning interventions.
• Ensure that the voices of young people are at the heart of decision-making processes.
• Collaborate effectively with families, schools, police, health, Youth Justice, Missing, and Edge of Care services to deliver coordinated multi-agency responses.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work (BA, MA, DipSW, or equivalent).

Registration & Compliance:

• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
• Thorough understanding of the Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
