What you will do:
- Provide specialist social work advice to family courts in public law proceedings involving children and families.
- Undertake assessments and analyse information to support informed judicial decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations with the child’s best interests at the centre of all practice.
- Liaise with legal professionals, education providers, health services, and partner agencies to develop a complete understanding of each child’s needs.
- Attend court hearings and present evidence-based recommendations to the judiciary.
- Support children and families throughout the court process, offering guidance and reassurance during challenging situations.
