Locum Social Worker – Cognitive & Physical Disabilities Team
An excellent ongoing opportunity is available for a Locum Social Worker to join the Cognitive & Physical Disabilities Team in Leicester, earning an impressive £34.00 per hour. What you will do:

Conduct Care Act 2014 assessments for adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities.

Develop and review person-centred, strengths-based care and support plans to maximise independence.

Apply the Mental Capacity Act 2005, completing capacity assessments and best interest decisions.

Work collaboratively with advocates, families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals.

Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, completing risk assessments and protection plans.

Liaise with health professionals, occupational therapists, and voluntary sector partners.

Support transitions from children’s to adult services, ensuring continuity of care.

Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with Social Work England standards and local policies.

Engage in supervision, training, and continuous professional development.
