What you will do:
- Provide specialist assessment, management, and treatment to patients with communication and/or swallowing difficulties in various settings, both acute and community-based.
- Manage a specialist caseload of adult patients with diverse therapy needs, ensuring effective and tailored interventions.
- Develop and deliver training programmes and information packages for colleagues, voluntary sector organisations, and family members/carers.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using investigative and analytical skills to formulate diagnoses.
- Establish individualised management and treatment plans using evidence-based treatment skills.
- Promote health and reduce health inequalities for adults and their families within the community.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care for patients.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
- Recent UK/NHS post-qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with adults.
