Legal Practitioner Position in West Bridgford, UK - £20.18 per hour via umbrella
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Practitioner in West Bridgford. This initial 3-month contract role offers an attractive hourly rate of £20.18 via umbrella arrangement and £15.56 through PAYE. The position is for 22 hours per week, with work scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, permitting hybrid working with at least one day of office attendance weekly.
This role involves supporting post-completion arrangements for contracts and legal documents, working alongside solicitors primarily on non-contentious cases. Strong communication and drafting skills are essential.

What you will do:
- Contract Support: Drafting, reviewing, and assembling commercial contracts, deeds, and agreements. Arranging signature and completion.
- Procurement: Assist solicitors with procurement tasks and exercises.
- Due Diligence and Research: Conduct legal research, document comparison, tracking, and due diligence, including company searches.
- Case Management: Support solicitors with file management, case review, general enquiries, document management, bundling, redaction, and version control.
- FOIA: Assist with Freedom of Information Act requests.
- Practice Management: Provide support to ensure the service maintains its LEXCEL accreditation.
About You:
You will handle pre- and post-completion commercial transaction work and possess a familiarity with UK public procurements. An understanding of GDPR and data protection is beneficial. Competency in Microsoft 365 and document management systems is necessary. You should be organized, communicative, capable of working independently, and be able to handle tight deadlines efficiently.
