What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases in line with statutory requirements and local procedures.
• Undertake assessments, risk analysis and safeguarding investigations to ensure child safety and identify needs.
• Develop and review comprehensive, child-centred plans aimed at improving outcomes for children, young people, and families.
• Lead and contribute to Child Protection Conferences, Core Group Meetings, and multi-agency planning meetings, ensuring coordinated and effective interventions.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• A degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, or an equivalent qualification recognised by Social Work England.
• Current registration with Social Work England is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Experience:

• Post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care is crucial.
• Proven experience in managing Child Protection and Child in Need caseloads effectively.
