Manchester City Council is seeking committed individuals with significant experience in statutory Adults Social Care to join our team on a 3-month contract covering a vacancy.

What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews to ensure individuals receive tailored care that meets their needs
- Manage complex caseloads efficiently while maintaining high standards of safeguarding practice
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to promote the wellbeing and safety of adults within the community
- Participate in a rotational weekend schedule to ensure continuous service delivery
- Demonstrate adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure compliance with all statutory Adults Social Care protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Qualified Adults Social Worker with significant experience in statutory Adults Social Care
- Proven ability to manage intricate caseloads and make informed decisions under pressure
- Strong capabilities in assessment, safeguarding, and engaging with multi-agency teams
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of the rota
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional references required
- Employment gaps will be thoroughly assessed
