Main Purpose of the Job:

As a Social Work Team Manager, you will oversee a team of dedicated social workers, responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in need. Your leadership will ensure that services are delivered in line with governmental regulations, council policies, and departmental procedures, all while maintaining an unwavering focus on quality and customer service.

What you will do:

- Manage the daily operations of the social work team, ensuring caseloads are prioritised and resources are optimised.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to frontline staff, helping to implement policy changes and improve service delivery.
- Conduct regular supervision and team meetings to ensure clear communication and collaboration within the service.
