What you will do:
- Oversee the Leaving Care team to ensure high-quality service delivery and excellent outcomes for young people.
- Manage and motivate a team of dedicated social workers and support staff, guiding them through complex cases and promoting professional development.
- Develop and implement effective strategies and policies within the team, ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners to provide cohesive support for care leavers.
- Monitor and report on team performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve service outcomes.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Be registered with Social Work England and maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulations and procedures.
- Demonstrate recent leadership experience in roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
- Provide substantial frontline experience in Children's Services, showcasing expertise in managing teams effectively.
