What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of complex child protection and Child in Need cases, ensuring timely and high-quality assessments and interventions.
• Undertake statutory duties, including Section 47 enquiries, initial assessments, and risk analysis to inform decision-making.
• Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans for children involved with CIN, CP, and Looked After Children processes.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners, including education, health, police, and legal services, to safeguard children effectively.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent).
• Evidence of continuous professional development.

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Sound knowledge of key legislation, such as the Children Act 1989 & 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Public Law Outline (PLO).
