£54,502 – £81,753 per annum

About the role
As a Senior Dental Officer / Dental Officer, you'll provide comprehensive community dental care to patients who often require additional support, including individuals with complex medical conditions, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, anxiety, or social vulnerabilities.
You'll work across community clinics, domiciliary settings and hospital environments where appropriate, delivering a broad range of preventive, restorative and emergency dental treatments while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality community dental care and oral health advice
- Assess and treat patients with additional needs and complex medical conditions
- Provide preventative, restorative and emergency dental treatment
- Deliver care under inhalation sedation, intravenous sedation or general anaesthesia where appropriate
- Provide domiciliary care and support hospital-based dental services
- Work collaboratively with carers, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance and accurate patient records
- Support the ongoing development of community dental services across Norfolk
About you
You'll be a compassionate and motivated Dentist who enjoys working with diverse patient groups and is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
You'll have:
- GDC registration
- Active NHS Performer Number
- Experience appropriate for either Dental Officer or Senior Dental Officer level
- A passion for improving access to dental care for vulnerable and underserved communities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuing professional development
- Flexibility to travel across Norfolk clinics where required
- Right to work in the UK (please note visa sponsorship is not available)

Location
The role is based in Sheringham, with regular travel across community clinics and service locations throughout Norfolk.
