What you will do:
- Offer compelling advice on educational, organisational, leadership, and management issues, contributing to the role of the local authority in education.
- Work collaboratively with several primary and lower schools to challenge and support their improvement activities.
- Represent the local authority at essential school events, providing pertinent advice particularly during headship appointments and Ofsted feedback sessions.
- Analyse educational data to identify improvement priorities and inform the local authority’s intervention strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with national educational developments and ensure schools benefit from these exciting changes.
- Be the go-to person for governors, offering reassurance and solutions for any issues or concerns.
- Contribute to a culture of professional development by up-skilling school leaders, governors, and local authority personnel on new initiatives.
Experience needed:
- Proven teaching and leadership experience, particularly in the primary phase, or with key stages 1 and 2.
- Experience in coaching and developing senior leaders, whilst building leadership capacity in education.
- Skilled communicator, capable of producing evaluative reports and contributing to local authority Ofsted inspections.
