Hours: 37 per week (09:00–17:00)
Pay: £23.88 PAYE | £32.00 Umbrella

Seven Resourcing are recruiting for an Experienced Social Worker to join a busy Children’s Services Duty and Assessment team. This is a fast-paced frontline role supporting children and families, completing assessments, and ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality assessments under Children’s Social Care frameworks
• Manage a complex caseload within Duty and Assessment
• Carry out statutory visits, home visits, and direct work with children and families
• Identify risk and implement appropriate safeguarding interventions
• Work closely with multi-agency partners to support effective outcomes
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for court and case planning
• Ensure all case recording is completed in line with statutory and departmental standards
• Contribute to care planning, reviews, and decision-making processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience in Children’s Social Care
• Experience within Duty and Assessment or similar frontline team
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Ability to manage a complex and fast-paced caseload
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
• Willingness to travel across and outside the local authority area
