What you will do:
- Manage and coordinate care across pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases of day surgery
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments to ensure patient readiness and safety
- Perform scrub responsibilities with precision and expertise in the operating theatre
- Support patient recovery in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and best practices for instrument handling
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams in a high-energy environment to enhance patient care
Essential Criteria:
- Extended clinical skills relevant to nursing
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in perioperative nursing, including scrub roles
- Demonstrated expertise in both scrub and circulating duties within theatre settings
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, instrument handling and day surgery workflows
- Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced surgical settings
