What you will do:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care within community mental health services, ensuring service users receive safe and effective support.
• Administer Depot medications accurately and safely, supporting treatment adherence and positive health outcomes.
• Assess service users' mental health needs and contribute to the development and review of care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and identify changes in presentation, escalating concerns where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using the System One computer system.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and person-centred care.
• Support service users and their families by providing information, practical guidance, and emotional support.
• Adhere to professional standards, clinical governance procedures, and organisational policies at all times.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
• Current NMC registration.
• Experience administering Depot medications within community or mental health settings.
• Proficiency in using the System One clinical system.
• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for community visits.
• Previous community mental health experience is highly desirable.
