Recycling Operative | Immediate Starts | Up to £15.20 per Hour + Overtime

First Choice Recruitment is recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a busy recycling facility. This is a physical, fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for sorting mixed dry recyclable materials while helping to support sustainable waste management.

No previous experience is required – full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for anyone looking to start work immediately.

Fixed shifts (no rotating shifts):

• 07:30 – 15:30 – £13.17 per hour
• 15:30 – 00:00 – £13.17 per hour
• 00:00 – 07:00 – £15.20 per hour

⭐ Overtime available, paid at time and a half and double time.

Your Duties

• Sort mixed dry recyclable materials quickly and accurately.
• Handle waste safely in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Lift and move bins or containers manually or using mechanical aids where required.
• Keep your work area clean, organised and safe.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• A good understanding of health and safety.
• Previous experience in recycling, warehouse, production or other manual work is an advantage, but not essential.
