We are currently seeking talented Phlebotomists for mobile units taking blood from volunteers for various tests. Locations include Milton Keynes, Oxford, Luton, Wembley, and Slough.

What you will do

• Conduct blood draws using established venepuncture techniques in mobile units at various locations.
• Ensure all samples are labelled correctly and transported safely to the designated laboratories.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, upholding health and safety standards at all times.
• Provide reassurance to volunteers, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain seamless service delivery.

Important Requirements

• You must be 25 or older and hold a clean driving licence for outreach roles.
• Current venepuncture, cannulation, or blood drawing competencies are required. Certificates and a DBS certificate must accompany your CV for submission.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday: 07:50 to 18:10
• Sunday: 10:50 to 15:55
• No scheduled appointments on Saturdays, with the possibility of introduction later in the project.
