What you will do:
- Conduct assessments in clients' homes and throughout the city to identify their needs and recommend appropriate adaptations.
- Collaborate with various teams within the OT service to manage and reduce the waiting list and respond to urgent referrals efficiently.
- Use your experience in adult social care, adaptations, equipment provision, and manual handling to deliver exceptional service.
- Work with clients to develop tailored intervention plans that enhance their independence and quality of life.
- Keep detailed records and provide reports to support clients' progression and your assessments.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
- A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with recent UK experience in the field.
- Extensive experience working within adult social care, specifically in adaptations and equipment provision.
- NHS experience is highly advantageous, enhancing your ability to provide high-quality care.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential to ensure you meet the professional standards required.
