What you will do:
Provide expert pharmaceutical care to mental health patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medication. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement medication management plans. Educate and counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication therapy management. Contribute to the development of pharmacy protocols and guidelines specific to mental health. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and medication efficacy, making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements:
Must hold GPHC Registration and possess a UK pharmacy qualification such as NVQ or equivalent. Demonstrated experience working as a Pharmacist within a UK-based NHS Pharmacy setting is essential. While mental health and hospital experience is preferred, passion for improving patient outcomes is key. Prescribing qualifications would be advantageous but are not required.
