Part-time Warehouse Operative/flt Cb Driver in Eccleshall, West Midlands

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial supplies business, for a reliable and experienced warehouse operative to join their small, friendly team on a long-term, part-time basis. This is a stable, ongoing opportunity — not a short-term contract — and is ideally suited to someone looking for consistent, regular work that fits around other commitments.

The Role:

Working within a busy but well-organised warehouse environment, you will be supporting the day-to-day operations across a range of duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck (approximately 20% of the role)
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out stock takes and supporting inventory management
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• General warehouse housekeeping and organisation

What Our Client Is Looking For:

• A valid, externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift certificate — this is essential
• Previous warehouse experience in a similar environment
• The ability to perform regular manual handling and lifting duties on a systematic basis
• A practical, sensible approach to work — someone who takes care, follows procedure, and takes health and safety seriously
• Good reliability and punctuality — a consistent, dependable presence is key

Working Hours:

2–3 days per week, 09:00 to approximately 15:00–16:00, with days to be confirmed. This is a long-term placement with a stable, established business.
