The Role

As an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group academic mentoring.
  • Supporting students within lessons across your specialist subject area.
  • Assisting high-achieving pupils with their academic progress and aspirations.
  • Supporting GCSE and A-Level intervention programmes.
  • Helping students build confidence, study skills and academic resilience.
  • Working closely with teaching staff to raise attainment and progress.
  • Contributing to enrichment activities, revision sessions and wider school initiatives.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop experience working directly with secondary-aged students whilst gaining a deeper understanding of teaching, learning and pastoral support.

Candidate Requirements

The school is seeking applicants who:

  • Hold a degree from the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge.
  • Have achieved a 2:1 degree or above.
  • Possess strong A-Level and GCSE results.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are confident, professional and enthusiastic.
  • Are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
