The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 5 class and play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition into Upper Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and creative lessons.
- Creating a stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively.
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

Person Specification
The successful applicant will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a proven track record of delivering good or outstanding lessons.
- Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and classroom practice.
- Be committed to raising attainment and outcomes for all pupils.
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
- Be an excellent team player with strong communication skills.

Salary
Inner London Teacher Pay Scale: £41,729 - £60,092 per annum, dependent upon experience and current pay scale.
