What You Will Do:

  • Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to adults in line with the council’s statutory responsibilities and current legislation.

  • Carry out professional assessments for older adults, those with physical or sensory needs, and individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring alignment with the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework.

  • Safeguard adults and carers at risk, championing wellbeing and the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal.

  • Develop, implement, and review personalised, outcomes-focused care and support plans that place individual wellbeing at their core.

  • Provide information, advice, and signposting to preventative services, enhancing resilience and promoting independence.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development, supporting both high-quality practice and staff wellbeing.

Candidates must be HCPC-registered, and a full driving licence is desirable for navigating Barnet’s transport routes effectively.
