Social Worker – Assessment and Intervention Team
Location: Torquay
Pay: £42 per hour + £150 weekly accommodation allowance
Contract: Temporary, Full-time

Seven Resourcing is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment and Intervention Team in Torquay. This service carries out initial assessments, identifies risk, and delivers timely interventions to support children, young people, and families at the earliest point of need.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake assessments in line with statutory guidance, identifying risk and determining the appropriate level of support.
• Develop clear, outcome-focused plans that promote safety and wellbeing.
• Deliver short-term interventions to reduce risk and improve family stability.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies, health professionals, schools, and voluntary services.
• Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised social work qualification.
• Current SWE registration.
• Experience within children’s services, particularly in assessment or safeguarding settings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and engagement skills.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
