What you will do:

Provide comprehensive neurological occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients with a variety of neurological conditions.

Develop, implement, and review personalised rehabilitation programmes designed to maximise independence and functional ability.

Conduct detailed functional assessments to identify individual needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated and patient-centred rehabilitation plans.

Provide education, guidance, and support to patients, families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process.

Assess and recommend equipment, adaptations, and strategies to support safe and independent living.

Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.

Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes are achieved.

Contribute to service development and promote best practice within neurological rehabilitation services.
Requirements:

Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in neuro-occupational therapy.

Previous Band 6 Occupational Therapy experience within the NHS or UK healthcare settings is highly desirable.

Strong assessment, rehabilitation, and clinical reasoning skills.

Experience working with individuals with neurological conditions and complex rehabilitation needs.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working abilities.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable due to travel between sites.
