Pay Rate: £23.17 per hour PAYE or £29.48 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Temporary
Contract Duration: 21 June 2026 to 18 July 2026
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a busy healthcare team in Newcastle upon Tyne on a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, supporting individuals to maximise their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults with a range of physical, cognitive, and social care needs.
• Develop, implement, and review person-centred care and treatment plans.
• Assess the need for equipment, adaptations, and moving and handling solutions.
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
• Provide advice and support to individuals to promote independence and prevent hospital admissions where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with professional standards and organisational policies.
• Ensure all practice complies with relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and professional guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and service development activities.

Essential Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a health or social care setting.
• Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and work independently.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practice guidance.
• Enhanced DBS check.
